When playing on the Xbox, your sense of hearing (sound), touch (feel), and seeing (sight) is heightened - these are three key factors that are essential in order to play on the console. However, many things can go unnoticed; priorities are manipulated.
It is usually not until the end of the game where you realise the following:
Although ‘touch’ is recognised when pressing buttons on the controller, we do not always recognise the speed in which we do so (image 2 illustrates the motion); Image 2 relates to the sense of sound wherein we may not notice the sound of repetition, this is usually made noticeable by someone who isn’t playing but is in the same room.
The sense of touch can often be disregarded until the end where we realised that our body is sore until the end of the game often due to our stance (the way we position ourselves when playing).
The sense of taste (in regards to food) is not directly needed to play on the console, although, it is not until the end where you realise that you are hungry.
